Toes to Bar by the "big man" - Dean

My own personal musings sometimes scare me, but my mind begs me to ask the question, why? Why don't people want to improve themselves. But then I remember where I was when I first started CrossFit, and where I have been many other times in my life when it comes to improvement in any area. Human nature has it's way with us. There is this constant progression towards the mean. Or in other words, being good at being average! You see it in every aspect of life or society, business, family, social, spiritual and health. Once humans exit the stage of adolescence, we are fighting this constant progression toward losing capacity and migrating toward the mean. Now, there is no way to ultimately avoid this process, but we can maximize our potential while we are here. And that is what we are all about! Keep fighting not being average!
